Since its introduction in 1979, "Mobile Suit Gundam" has ignited the dreams of countless people with its take on hardcore mecha combined with the backdrop of a war torn Earth, becoming a classic that spans the ages.

Haro is a character from the prolific Japanese animation "Mobile Suit Gundam” and its many sequels. Introduced as protagonist Amuro Ray’s pet and designed by Kunio Okawara, it was originally intended to be used as a repair robot in Invincible Steel Titan 3, but the supervisor Yuyuji Tomino later decided to present it in Gundam. ( In Titan 3, HARO was a repair robot, later it took on this role in Mobile Suit Gundam 00.)

The BANDAI X UNDERVERSE is collaborative project launched by UNDERVERSE artist ASHLEY WOOD and BANDAI.

The idea of Haro is too cool, a personal assistant, a buddy that has been consistently part of the Gundam story. The wonderful simple design conceals the complexity of Haro’s look, so simple yet so expressive and beguiling. When the chance came about to combine the wonderful Haro with my WWR Square it was a marriage in Robot Heaven! I can’t express how much I dig the resulting amalgamation, its seems natural and hopefully the design could sit in any world or universe!

It goes without saying that I have an enduring love for Gundam, from the beginning through its many evolutions, it’s certainly a joy to be able to play in the Gundam universe! My admiration goes to the many amazing artists and writers that have brought these stories to life!”

The perfect mix of UV’s distinct weathered paintwork and high level of sculpting with the stylized appearance of the SQUARE from Ashley Wood’s WORLD WAR ROBOT Series and the cute and classic HARO from MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM! Colloquially, Ashley Wood has been calling them SQUARO.

Available as Blind Box figures, with 7 standard versions and 2 special chase editions. Each SQUARO stands approx 3inches tall and includes articulated and detachable legs, opening leg panels, and ear flaps with inner delating.
