UVBC x ACKY BRIGHT coming March 27th!
The debut BC X Acky Bright collaboration preorders will be coming to UVBC.com on March 27th!
Acky Bright is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator renowned for his distinctive “kawakakkoii” (meaning “cute yet cool”) style. His works combine delicate line work with bold compositions, earning him admirers both at home and abroad.
Since 2020, Acky Bright has been sharing his artwork on social media, gradually attracting widespread attention. He has created pieces for several well-known brands, including McDonald’s, Meta, BMW, DC Comics, and Netflix.
His first commercial artbook, B/W, was published by PIE International in 2023. Showcasing around 200 selected works, it highlights his artistic style and creative philosophy.
In addition, Acky Bright has held multiple solo exhibitions and live drawing events. In October 2024, he mounted a solo exhibition titled Acky Bright: Studio Infinity at the Japan Culture Center in New York, presenting his new series, KBK-18 and Ah-Un, which fuse elements of traditional Japanese art with theatrical motifs.
His artworks often feature female figures blended with mechanical elements, creating a visual impact that is both gentle and resilient—perfectly capturing the unique charm of cute yet cool.
